We build teams that instinctively dig for the REAL problem — before anyone reaches for a fix — so the same fires stop coming back.

MOST PEOPLE AREN’T SOLVING PROBLEMS. THEY ARE FINDING SOLUTIONS.

OUR PROCESS:

Problem Solving Solutions

Diagnose the Challenge

We start by diving deep into your operations to uncover what’s really holding your business back. Through a combination of data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and on-the-ground observation, we identify root causes—not just surface symptoms.

Design the Solution

Once we understand the challenge, we collaborate with your team to design practical, customized solutions. Whether it’s optimizing processes, aligning teams, or eliminating inefficiencies, we ensure every solution is tailored to your unique needs.

Deliver Results

We don’t stop at strategy—we stay with you through implementation. From facilitating problem-solving workshops to providing coaching and hands-on support, we guide your team in executing solutions and achieving measurable results.

Sustain the Impact

True success isn’t just about solving today’s problems; it’s about equipping your team to tackle tomorrow’s challenges. We focus on building your team’s problem-solving capabilities, ensuring the impact of our work endures long after we’re gone.

The Philosophy

"What's the problem?" is one of those questions where the answers seem obvious but really… aren't.

The reason is that the problem you're truly trying to get a handle on is usually three or four levels deeper than your initial answer.

Most of us aren't problem solving. We're solution finding.

Someone names something that's off, the room throws out ideas, & ten minutes later you've landed on a fix. Maybe it's a new process. Maybe it's a new hire. Everybody leaves feeling productive.

We do this because landing on an answer feels good — it closes the loop in the brain & the spiraling stops.

The catch? When you skip past defining the problem, you usually fix the wrong thing. Or you fix the symptom & the same problem shows up again two weeks later.

The antidote is building people who instinctively dig for the REAL problem before they reach for a solution.

That's what we do.

  • “Working with Sarah was a game-changer for our team during our kaizen event in November. She quickly immersed herself in our operations and seamlessly ramped up to lead, teach, and coach our team through the process. Under her guidance, we developed a fully operational prototype line that delivered a 30% cycle time improvement, significantly enhanced productivity, and drastically improved ergonomics for our people—all while reducing in-process inventory. What truly stood out was Sarah's ability to energize our team and make lean tools approachable and exciting. Her leadership not only delivered impressive results but also left our team inspired and equipped to tackle future challenges with confidence.  It was an awesome experience and we're excited to work with the KPI Lab again.”
